The fare system is flat-rate rather than zone-based. However, a separate fare applies when using the tram-train between Gare Centrale, Cerna, and Thann. By using trams and buses, you can access most tourist destinations.

The following tickets are valid for trams and buses operated by Soléa. They are also valid on the SNCF-operated tram-train between Gare Centrale and Lutterbach.
※ Children under the age of 4 can travel for free.

The validity period is 1 hour.

● 24 hours
Valid for 24 hours from the first use.

● Family
A round-trip ticket for families of 3 to 5 people. All members must travel together.

A set of 10 single-use tickets.

How to ride tram

① Check the tram before boarding

Trams at Mulhouse often depart and arrive frequently from the same platform, even if they are on different lines or headed to different destinations. Due to the complexity of the system, be sure to double-check the tram before boarding.

The doors do not open automatically. You need to press the door open button located above the door to get on or off.

③ Validate your ticket

There are no ticket gates for trams. Instead, you must validate your ticket using a stamping machine located inside the tram. Failure to do so may result in a fine.

Most trams are equipped with onboard information displays, so checking your destination and any intermediate stops in advance will help ensure a smooth journey.

Unlike the terminal platforms commonly seen in major French cities, this station features island platforms. There are nine tracks, and high-speed TGV trains provide access to Paris and Marseille. Located just 30 minutes from Basel, Switzerland, the station is served by regional and local trains to and from Switzerland every 30 minutes to 1 hour. Additionally, there is one round-trip TGV service per day to Frankfurt, Germany.

● Travel Time
On sections where high-speed lines are incomplete, there is no time difference between TGV and IC trains. For trips around 50 km, travel time differences by train type are minimal.

● Fares
The fares listed below are standard refundable and changeable fares for the fastest travel options, but they vary significantly depending on the season and seat availability, so use them as a guideline. Fares tend to be cheapest for TER, followed by IC, then TGV. Discounted fares less than half the regular price are available for TGV and IC trains but come with restrictions such as no refunds or changes.
