There are seven national railway stations in central Paris, all connected by the Metro. Of these, four stations serve TGV high-speed trains. Additionally, there are three national railway stations located in the suburbs, all of which are dedicated TGV stations. Among them, Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport Station is one of the busiest. Intercity (IC) and regional (TER) trains to southeastern Paris depart and arrive here. Although the station is the smallest in size, it handles many trains and does not feel deserted. Located near Gare de Lyon, you can see TGV trains bound for Lyon from the platform ends. The metro station is a bit of a walk away, but plenty of signs are posted to guide you without issue.
